JKM Architecture is a New York–based practice focused on retail, hospitality, workplaces, and select residential projects. We bring together thoughtful design, technical coordination, and a practical understanding of construction to create spaces that respond to the people and businesses they serve.
About the firm
Every project begins with understanding its context: the client’s goals, the character of the space, and the requirements that shape what can be built. We develop these considerations together, carrying the design from early planning through documentation, approvals, and construction.
Our work combines attention to atmosphere, materials, and detail with the coordination needed to realize a project. We work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to keep decisions clear and the design intent consistent as the project develops.
Based in New York, we support projects and brand expansion nationwide through an extensive professional network. For international brands and clients, we help connect their design expectations with local project requirements and construction practices—alongside our broader architectural design work.
The firm offers Korean- and Japanese-language coordination for international clients. John Min is licensed in New York and New Jersey; additional state licensure may be pursued through reciprocity as needed, subject to jurisdiction requirements, and we coordinate with appropriately licensed local professionals where required. NYC special inspection services remain within their specific authorization and geographic scope.
